Chevrolet Impala/Caprice

GM B-body

Chevrolet redesigned its full-size rear-wheel-drive B-body cars for 1991, giving the Caprice a much more rounded body and updated packaging. The Impala name was not yet part of the regular U.S. retail lineup in this phase, but the Caprice sedan and related body styles were sold in the United States. This phase ended before the 1994 facelifted update.
