1994–1996 B-body (facelift) (GM B-body) facelift

4 modifications · For 1994, Chevrolet updated the 1991 B-body with a revised front and rear appearance and repositioned the Impala as a performance-oriented full-size sedan and wagon. The Caprice name also continued in the same basic body family through 1996 in the U.S. market. This facelift phase is distinct from the earlier 1991–1993 version because the styling and market identity changed.

1991–1993 B-body (redesign) (GM B-body)

3 modifications · Chevrolet redesigned its full-size rear-wheel-drive B-body cars for 1991, giving the Caprice a much more rounded body and updated packaging. The Impala name was not yet part of the regular U.S. retail lineup in this phase, but the Caprice sedan and related body styles were sold in the United States. This phase ended before the 1994 facelifted update.
