Chevrolet Corvette
C1
The original Chevrolet Corvette launched in 1953 as a two-seat American sports car with fiberglass bodywork and a roadster-only body style. Early C1 cars used inline-six power before V8 engines arrived, and the generation established the Corvette as Chevrolet’s halo performance model. It was sold in the United States and ended with the 1962 model year.
