2020–2024 C8 (C8)

3 modifications · The C8 Corvette launched for 2020 with a mid-engine layout, marking the most radical change in Corvette history. It has been sold in the United States and has expanded to include the E-Ray, Z06, and ZR1 variants. This generation remains in production.

2014–2019 C7 (C7)

7 modifications · The C7 Corvette arrived for 2014 as the Stingray, bringing a sharper design, a new interior, and a return to the Stingray name. It was sold in the United States and expanded into Z06 and ZR1 performance models during its lifecycle. Production ended after the 2019 model year.

2005–2013 C6 (C6)

6 modifications · The C6 Corvette launched for 2005 with exposed headlamps and a more compact body than the C5. It remained a U.S.-market sports car offered in coupe, convertible, and high-performance variants such as the Z06 and ZR1. The generation ended after the 2013 model year.

1997–2004 C5 (C5)

6 modifications · The C5 Corvette debuted for 1997 with a new platform, rear-mounted transaxle layout, and improved refinement over the C4. It was sold in the United States in coupe, convertible, and fixed-roof hardtop forms. Production ended after the 2004 model year.

1989–1996 C4 (C4) facelift

5 modifications · The C4 Corvette continued with a revised phase beginning in 1989, when the convertible returned to the lineup and the generation’s later styling and mechanical updates were in place. This phase remained on sale in the United States through the end of C4 production. It closed out the generation before the C5 redesign for 1997.

1984–1988 C4 (C4)

3 modifications · The C4 Corvette launched for 1984 with a clean-sheet chassis and a more modern, wedge-shaped design. It was sold in the United States and later added a convertible body style after the coupe’s return to the lineup. The generation ended after the 1996 model year.

1968–1982 C3 (C3)

10 modifications · The C3 Corvette arrived for 1968 with a dramatic new body inspired by the Mako Shark concept and continued the Corvette’s U.S. market presence. It introduced T-top coupes and evolved through a long production run that included major styling and emissions-era changes. The generation ended after the 1982 model year.

1963–1967 C2 (C2)

6 modifications · The second-generation Corvette debuted for 1963 with the Sting Ray design, independent rear suspension, and a new coupe body style alongside the convertible. It remained a U.S.-market model throughout its run and is widely associated with the split-window coupe of the first year. Production ended after the 1967 model year.

1953–1962 C1 (C1)

13 modifications · The original Chevrolet Corvette launched in 1953 as a two-seat American sports car with fiberglass bodywork and a roadster-only body style. Early C1 cars used inline-six power before V8 engines arrived, and the generation established the Corvette as Chevrolet’s halo performance model. It was sold in the United States and ended with the 1962 model year.
