BMW 5 Series
E28
The E28 was the second-generation BMW 5 Series and the first 5 Series sold in the United States, arriving for the 1984 model year. U.S. versions included four-cylinder, six-cylinder, and later 535i variants, establishing the 5 Series as BMW's midsize executive sedan in America. Production ended before the next-generation E34 reached the market.
