Ford Tempo
First generation
The Tempo debuted for 1984 as Ford’s new compact front-wheel-drive model in the United States. It was offered as a sedan and coupe and was positioned as a modern replacement for Ford’s earlier compact rear-wheel-drive cars. The original phase ran through the 1986 model year before a facelift arrived for 1987.
