Ford Maverick

First generation facelift

The original Ford Maverick debuted for the 1970 model year as a compact rear-wheel-drive car positioned below the larger Ford intermediates. It was sold in the United States through the 1972 model year before a styling update for 1973. The model remained on sale in the U.S. until the 1977 model year, when it was replaced by Ford's newer compact offerings.
