Ford LTD Crown Victoria/Country Squire Wagon
Panther
The first LTD Crown Victoria and Country Squire Wagon launched for 1983 on Ford's Panther rear-wheel-drive full-size platform. It replaced the LTD as Ford's traditional body-on-frame full-size family car, with the Country Squire continuing as the woodgrain wagon derivative. This phase was sold in the United States and ran through the 1987 model year before a facelifted update arrived for 1988.
