Dodge Diplomat
M-body
The Dodge Diplomat launched for 1977 as a rear-wheel-drive midsize sedan on Chrysler’s M-body platform. It was positioned as a more upscale sibling to other Chrysler corporate intermediates and was sold in the United States from the start. The model continued in this original form until the 1980 facelift.
