Chevrolet Nova
X-body
The second-generation Nova arrived for 1968 with a major redesign on GM's X-body architecture. It remained Chevrolet's compact car through 1974 and is the best-known early Nova generation. This long-running version included several model-year updates but retained the same basic generation identity.
