The second-generation Chevrolet Express Cargo launched for the 2003 model year on the GMT610 van platform. It kept the traditional full-size body-on-frame cargo-van layout and continued Chevrolet’s commercial van lineup in the U.S. market. This base phase lasted until the 2007 model year, when the van received a styling update.
