The second-generation Cruze sedan arrived in the U.S. for the 2017 model year with a new D2XX-based platform and a larger, more refined package. It replaced the Cruze Limited and continued through the 2019 model year in U.S. showrooms. Chevrolet positioned it as the mainstream compact sedan in the lineup.
