2017–2019 Second generation (D2LC)

11 modifications · The second-generation Cruze sedan arrived in the U.S. for the 2017 model year with a new D2XX-based platform and a larger, more refined package. It replaced the Cruze Limited and continued through the 2019 model year in U.S. showrooms. Chevrolet positioned it as the mainstream compact sedan in the lineup.

3 modifications · Chevrolet added a Cruze hatchback to the U.S. lineup for the 2017 model year, expanding the second-generation Cruze family beyond the sedan. The hatchback shared the same D2XX-based architecture and remained on sale through 2019. It was offered alongside sportier trims such as Premier in the U.S. market.

2016–2016 J300 (J300) Limited

5 modifications · For 2016, Chevrolet continued selling the outgoing Cruze in the U.S. as the Cruze Limited. This model was a carryover version of the first-generation J300 sedan rather than the all-new Cruze that followed. It served as a one-year bridge before the redesigned second-generation car reached the market.

2011–2015 J300 (J300)

7 modifications · The Cruze debuted in the U.S. for the 2011 model year as Chevrolet’s compact sedan replacement for the Cobalt. It used the global J300 Cruze architecture and was sold in multiple trims, including Eco, during its early years. This first-generation Cruze remained on sale in the U.S. through the 2015 model year.
