The 2019 Silverado 1500 was a clean-sheet redesign on GM’s T1XX truck platform with a new frame, lighter construction, and expanded cab and bed configurations. It launched as Chevrolet’s latest full-size pickup for the U.S. market and replaced the K2XX-based truck. This original phase ran through the 2021 model year.
