2022–2022 Fourth generation (T1XX) facelift

43 modifications · For 2022, Chevrolet gave the Silverado 1500 a significant facelift with a revised front end, updated interior technology, and trim-level changes. The truck remained on the T1XX platform but received enough updates to stand as a distinct phase. This facelifted version is still sold new in the United States.

2019–2021 Fourth generation (T1XX)

2 modifications · The 2019 Silverado 1500 was a clean-sheet redesign on GM’s T1XX truck platform with a new frame, lighter construction, and expanded cab and bed configurations. It launched as Chevrolet’s latest full-size pickup for the U.S. market and replaced the K2XX-based truck. This original phase ran through the 2021 model year.

2016–2018 Third generation (K2XX) facelift

3 modifications · For 2016, Chevrolet updated the Silverado 1500 with a facelift that refreshed the front styling and brought equipment and trim changes. The truck remained on the K2XX architecture but was visually and feature-wise distinct from the 2014–2015 version. This facelifted phase continued through the 2018 model year.

2014–2015 Third generation (K2XX)

6 modifications · Chevrolet redesigned the Silverado 1500 for 2014 with the K2XX platform, new bodywork, and a more modern cabin and chassis package. This generation marked a major step forward in refinement and capability for the U.S. market. It lasted through the 2015 model year before receiving a facelift for 2016.

2007–2013 Second generation (GMT900) facelift

1 modification · The 2007 Silverado 1500 introduced a facelifted version of the GMT900-era truck with revised front-end styling and updated trim structure. It kept the same overall generation lineage but represented a distinct mid-cycle update. This phase ended after the 2013 model year, when Chevrolet replaced it with an all-new Silverado 1500.

2003–2006 Second generation (GMT800)

2 modifications · For 2003, Chevrolet launched a redesigned Silverado 1500 on the GMT800 platform with updated styling and revised cab and bed offerings. This generation continued the Silverado’s role as Chevrolet’s core light-duty pickup in the U.S. market. It remained in production through the 2006 model year before a facelifted update arrived for 2007.

1999–2002 First generation (GMT800)

19 modifications · The Silverado 1500 debuted for the 1999 model year as Chevrolet’s new full-size light-duty pickup in the United States. It replaced the C/K 1500 and shared the GMT800 truck architecture with other GM full-size pickups. This first-generation Silverado 1500 ran through the 2002 model year before a full redesign.
