BMW X2

The original BMW X2 debuted as a coupe-styled compact crossover positioned below the X3 and shared its front-drive-based architecture with the contemporary X1. In the U.S., it arrived for 2018 as the sDrive28i and xDrive28i, with the performance-oriented M35i added later in the lifecycle. This first-generation X2 remained on sale through 2023 before being replaced by a new model for 2024.
