BMW 5 Series
G30/G31/G38
The G30 generation brought a lighter chassis, updated driver-assistance systems, and a more technology-focused cabin to the 5 Series. In the U.S., the lineup centered on the G30 sedan, with the 530i, 540i, and plug-in hybrid 530e joining the range, while the Gran Turismo continued briefly from the prior generation. This generation received a mid-cycle update for 2021.
