G42
BMW introduced the second-generation 2 Series coupe in the U.S. for 2022 on the G42 platform. This generation returned to a rear-wheel-drive coupe format and included the 230i and M240i xDrive in the U.S. market. It remains the current 2 Series coupe generation in the United States, with production still ongoing.
