Mercedes-Benz R-Class
W251
The first-generation Mercedes-Benz R-Class launched on the W251 platform as a large six- or seven-seat luxury crossover/MPV. It reached the U.S. market for the 2006 model year with gasoline and diesel variants, including the R350, R500, and R320 CDI 4MATIC, plus the R63 AMG performance version. This original phase ran until the 2010 model year before the facelifted version arrived.
