2011–2013 W251 (W251) facelift

3 modifications · The facelifted W251 R-Class updated the original model with revised styling and continued the same overall luxury crossover/MPV concept. In the U.S., this phase was sold from the 2011 model year through 2013, with the R350 4MATIC remaining the core offering. This was the final phase of the R-Class before the nameplate ended.

2006–2010 W251 (W251)

6 modifications · The first-generation Mercedes-Benz R-Class launched on the W251 platform as a large six- or seven-seat luxury crossover/MPV. It reached the U.S. market for the 2006 model year with gasoline and diesel variants, including the R350, R500, and R320 CDI 4MATIC, plus the R63 AMG performance version. This original phase ran until the 2010 model year before the facelifted version arrived.
