2023–2026 X254 (X254)

3 modifications · The second-generation GLC debuted globally for 2023 and reached the U.S. market as an all-new compact luxury SUV. It brought a new X254 body code, updated interior technology, and a revised model lineup that includes the GLC 300, GLC 300 4MATIC, plug-in hybrid GLC 350e 4MATIC, and AMG GLC 43 4MATIC. This is the current GLC generation sold in the United States.

2020–2022 X253 (X253) facelift

3 modifications · Mercedes-Benz updated the X253 GLC-Class for the 2020 model year with revised styling and equipment changes. In the U.S., this facelifted version continued the GLC 300 and AMG GLC 43 variants through the end of the first generation. It remained on sale until the all-new second-generation GLC arrived.

2016–2019 X253 (X253)

5 modifications · The first-generation GLC-Class SUV launched in the U.S. for the 2016 model year as Mercedes-Benz’s replacement for the GLK-Class. It used the X253 body code and was offered in rear-wheel-drive and 4MATIC forms, with AMG variants added later in the lifecycle. This generation established the GLC nameplate in the American market before the 2020 facelift and the later all-new X254 successor.
