2023–2024 X254 (X254)

5 modifications · The second-generation GLC-Class SUV, coded X254, debuted with a redesigned body, updated interior architecture, and new technology. It reached the U.S. for the 2023 model year and replaced the outgoing first-generation SUV. This generation remains the current GLC-Class SUV in the U.S. market.

2020–2023 X253 (X253) facelift

6 modifications · The facelifted X253 GLC-Class brought revised front and rear styling, updated infotainment, and powertrain changes for the 2020 model year. In the U.S., this refreshed SUV continued the GLC300 and AMG GLC43/GLC63 family while the plug-in hybrid GLC350e also appeared in this period. It remained the first-generation GLC SUV through the end of its run.

2016–2019 X253 (X253)

8 modifications · The first-generation GLC-Class SUV replaced the GLK-Class and introduced Mercedes-Benz’s compact luxury crossover under the GLC name. In the U.S., it launched for 2016 as the GLC300 and later expanded to AMG and plug-in hybrid variants. This phase established the core GLC lineup before the 2020 facelift updated styling and equipment.
