X164 facelift
For 2013, Mercedes-Benz updated the GL-Class with revised exterior styling, refreshed interior details, and updated engines and trim structure. The facelift kept the X164-era GL identity in the U.S. while moving the model closer to the later GLS-era design language. U.S. sales continued through 2016 before the nameplate changed.
