2017–2019 Third generation (C520) facelift

10 modifications · The third-generation Escape received a facelift for the 2017 model year in the U.S. market. Ford updated the front and rear styling and revised the trim structure while keeping the same underlying platform and body code. This facelifted phase continued through 2019.

2013–2016 Third generation (C520)

11 modifications · The third-generation Ford Escape launched for the 2013 model year in the U.S. with a new global design and a more car-like body. It was sold with front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, and Ford expanded the lineup with EcoBoost, hybrid, and later plug-in hybrid derivatives. This generation was replaced by the 2020 redesign.

2008–2012 First generation (C170) facelift

8 modifications · The first-generation Escape received a facelift for the 2008 model year. U.S. versions adopted updated exterior styling and revised trim and equipment content while continuing the same underlying body code. This was the final year of the original Escape before the redesign.

2001–2012 First generation (C170)

20 modifications · The first-generation Ford Escape debuted for the 2001 model year as Ford's compact SUV entry in the U.S. market. It was offered with front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive, and a hybrid version joined the lineup for 2005. The generation received a facelift for 2008 before being replaced by the next Escape.
