The first-generation Ford Aspire debuted in the United States for the 1994 model year as Ford’s entry-level subcompact. It was offered as a 2-door hatchback and shared its basic underpinnings with the Kia-built Festiva-derived platform. U.S. sales ended after the 1997 model year.
