M-body second facelift
A second styling revision arrived for 1983, giving the Dodge Diplomat a more formal front-end appearance while continuing on the same M-body platform. This phase represented the later U.S.-market Diplomat sedan before the model’s final years. It remained in production through 1989, when Diplomat production ended.
