The Chevrolet SS debuted for the 2014 model year as a rear-wheel-drive performance sedan derived from the Holden Commodore VF. It used a 6.2L V8 and was offered in the U.S. with manual and automatic transmissions. This was the only generation of the SS nameplate sold in the United States.
