1985–1988 first generation facelift
3 modifications · The Chevrolet Spectrum received a facelift during its U.S. run while remaining the same basic Isuzu-derived subcompact. This updated phase continued the hatchback body style and carried the model through the end of U.S. sales. The Spectrum nameplate left the U.S. market after 1988.

1985–1988 first generation
3 modifications · The Chevrolet Spectrum launched in the United States for the 1985 model year as a rebadged Isuzu subcompact. It was sold as a small front-wheel-drive hatchback and represented Chevrolet's entry-level import-badged offering in this segment. U.S. sales continued through the 1988 model year.
