Chevrolet Malibu
N-body
The 1997 Malibu marked Chevrolet’s return to the nameplate on a front-wheel-drive midsize sedan platform. It replaced the earlier rear-wheel-drive Malibu and was sold in the United States through the 2003 model year. This generation established the modern Malibu as a mainstream family sedan.
