Chevrolet’s G30 Van entered the U.S. market as the 1-ton version of the G-series full-size van line. It shared the square-body G-body van architecture used across Chevrolet’s full-size van range and was offered for cargo and passenger use depending on configuration. This original phase ran through the 1989 model year before the facelifted version arrived for 1990.
