Chevrolet Cavalier
J-body
The first Chevrolet Cavalier arrived for 1984 as GM’s J-body compact, replacing the Monza in Chevrolet’s small-car lineup. It was sold in the U.S. as a coupe, sedan, wagon, and convertible, and it established the Cavalier as one of Chevrolet’s core front-wheel-drive compacts of the 1980s.
