8 modifications · The Avalanche 1500 continued on the GMT900 platform for 2009 through 2013 with the same basic body and midgate layout. U.S. sales remained limited to the 1500-series Avalanche, and Chevrolet discontinued the model after the 2013 model year.

2007–2013 GMT900 (GMT900) facelift

6 modifications · For 2007, Chevrolet redesigned the Avalanche 1500 onto the GMT900 truck platform with updated exterior styling and a revised interior. This facelifted phase continued the U.S. market run of the Avalanche through the 2008 model year before later model-year updates.

2002–2006 GMT800 (GMT800)

4 modifications · The original Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 debuted for 2002 on GM’s GMT800 full-size truck architecture. It combined SUV-style enclosed cargo space with a midgate that extended the bed into the cabin area, and it was sold in the U.S. with both 2WD and 4WD drivetrains.
