BMW X5
G05/G18
The current BMW X5 generation debuted on the G05 platform, with the G18 name used for the long-wheelbase version in some markets. In the U.S., it launched with xDrive40i and xDrive50i, later adding xDrive45e, M50i, M, and M Competition variants, and it remains the basis for the latest X5 lineup. This row covers the original phase before the facelift.
