The first-generation Alfa Romeo Stelvio debuted globally for the 2017 model year as the brand’s first SUV, sharing the Giorgio rear-wheel-drive architecture with the Giulia. It reached the U.S. market for the 2018 model year and established the Stelvio as Alfa Romeo’s core crossover offering. This original phase was later replaced by a facelifted version for 2020.
