General Motors has temporarily halted production of its Bolt EV and EUV models at the Orion Assembly plant in Michigan due to the global semiconductor chip shortage. The stoppage, which began on April 16, is expected to last until at least the end of May. This marks the second time that GM has had to halt Bolt production due to the chip shortage.
