Ford has announced that it will be discontinuing the diesel engine option for its popular F-150 pickup truck. The 3.0-liter Power Stroke V6 diesel engine, which was introduced in the 2018 model year, will not be offered in the 2023 model year F-150. The decision comes as Ford moves towards electrification, with the F-150 Lightning electric pickup set to begin production in 2022.
