2012–2015 W166 (W166)

4 modifications · The third-generation M-Class W166 launched for the 2012 model year with another full redesign. It remained on sale in the United States as Mercedes-Benz’s midsize SUV, with ML350 and related variants among the key trims. This base phase lasted through 2015 before the facelifted model arrived.

2009–2016 W164 (W164) facelift

2 modifications · The W164 received a facelift for the 2009 model year, updating the exterior and interior while keeping the same underlying generation. This refreshed version continued to be sold in the United States through the end of W164 production. It closed out the M-Class’s second generation before the next redesign.

1998–2008 W163 (W163)

1 modification · The original Mercedes-Benz M-Class W163 introduced the brand’s midsize luxury SUV line for the 1998 model year. It was sold in the United States and established the ML320 and related variants as core U.S. offerings. Production of this first generation ended before the 2006 redesign.
