2018–2020 X156 (X156) facelift
1 modification · Mercedes-Benz updated the first-generation GLA with a facelift for the 2018 model year, bringing revised styling and equipment while keeping the same X156 body code. In the U.S., this refreshed version continued through the end of the first generation. It remained the GLA’s only U.S. offering until the all-new second generation arrived.

2015–2026 X156 (X156)
7 modifications · The original Mercedes-Benz GLA launched as the brand’s entry-level crossover, sharing its basic architecture with other MFA compact models. It arrived in the U.S. for the 2015 model year and established the GLA nameplate as a small premium SUV. This first-generation model ended in the U.S. after the 2020 model year.
