2009–2009 C209 (C209) facelift

3 modifications · Mercedes-Benz gave the C209 coupe a facelift for the 2009 model year, updating the front and rear styling while keeping the same basic platform and body code. In the U.S., this was the final CLK coupe phase before the model line ended after 2009. The facelifted coupe remained on sale alongside the cabriolet update.

2006–2008 C209 (C209)

6 modifications · The second-generation CLK-Class coupe moved to the C209 body code for 2006 in the United States, with a cleaner design and a new model structure. U.S. offerings included CLK350, CLK550, and AMG variants over the lifecycle. This base phase ran until the 2009 facelift.

2003–2005 C208 (C208) facelift

8 modifications · Mercedes-Benz updated the C208 CLK coupe for 2003 with revised exterior styling and a revised U.S. model lineup. In the United States, this facelift phase continued through 2005 and included CLK500 and AMG variants alongside the core V6 model. It was the final C208 coupe phase before the all-new CLK-Class arrived for 2006.

1998–2002 C208 (C208)

5 modifications · The original CLK-Class coupe debuted on the C208 body code for the 1998 model year in the United States, bringing Mercedes-Benz styling with a two-door layout based on the contemporary C-Class platform. U.S. versions included six-cylinder and V8 variants, along with AMG performance models during the lifecycle. This first coupe phase ended before the facelifted C208 update arrived for 2003.
