The original Mercedes-Benz 600 W100 launched in the 1960s as the marque’s flagship ultra-luxury limousine. It was offered in standard wheelbase and Pullman forms, with coachbuilt derivatives also appearing during its long production run. The model was sold internationally and was not a regular U.S. market offering.
