W126

The 560SEL was the long-wheelbase flagship sedan of the W126 S-Class family, powered by Mercedes-Benz's 5.6-liter V8 and positioned above the 500SEL in the U.S. market. It was sold in the United States from the late 1980s through the end of W126 production, and it represented the top U.S.-market sedan trim for the 560 nameplate.
