The W126 500SEC was the two-door coupe counterpart to the 500SEL in Mercedes-Benz’s flagship lineup. It was sold in the United States from 1984 through 1991, sharing the same W126 architecture and V8 positioning as the sedan. The coupe remained a distinct body style within the W126 family throughout its run.
