W123 facelift
The facelifted W123 230 continued the same basic sedan architecture with updated exterior and equipment details. Mercedes-Benz refreshed the W123 line during the early 1980s, and the 230 remained part of the model family in many markets. This facelift phase was not sold new in the United States.
