The Mercedes-Benz 200 W124 was the base gasoline sedan in the W124 range and represented the 200 badge in many international markets during the late 1980s and early 1990s. It was part of the first W124 sedan phase before the model received a facelift. The 200 designation was not a standard U.S. market W124 trim.
