Mercedes-Benz 190

W201

The Mercedes-Benz 190 W201 arrived in the U.S. for the 1984 model year as the brand’s compact sedan, initially offered as the 190D 2.2 and 190E 2.3. It established the W201 as Mercedes-Benz’s smaller rear-wheel-drive four-door line and introduced the model family to American buyers before later performance and six-cylinder variants were added.
