4 modifications · The Grand Wagoneer L joined the lineup for 2023 as the longer-wheelbase version of the modern Grand Wagoneer. It shares the same WSJ family and U.S. luxury-SUV positioning, but adds more overall length and cargo space. This extended body style is sold in the United States alongside the standard Grand Wagoneer.

2022–2022 WSJ (WSJ)
14 modifications · Jeep revived the Grand Wagoneer name for the 2022 model year on a new body-on-frame luxury SUV positioned above the Wagoneer. The WSJ-based Grand Wagoneer launched in the U.S. as a premium three-row model with modern technology and upscale trim. It remains the core Grand Wagoneer nameplate in the current lineup.

1988–1991 SJ (SJ) facelift
4 modifications · For 1988, Jeep updated the SJ Grand Wagoneer with a revised front-end and exterior detailing while keeping the same underlying full-size wagon body. The model remained the premium 4WD version of the Wagoneer line through the end of SJ production. This facelift phase continued the original Grand Wagoneer run in the U.S. until 1991.

1984–1987 SJ (SJ)
8 modifications · The Grand Wagoneer name was introduced on Jeep’s SJ full-size wagon as a premium 4WD model for the 1984 model year. It sat at the top of the Wagoneer range and carried the classic wood-sided, truck-based luxury-wagon formula. This first phase established the Grand Wagoneer as Jeep’s flagship full-size utility vehicle in the U.S. market.
