1981–1986 CJ-8 Scrambler

3 modifications · The CJ-8 Scrambler was the long-wheelbase pickup-style member of the CJ family, sharing much of its hardware with the CJ-7. It was sold in the United States in limited numbers and offered a more cargo-oriented body style. Production ended in 1986 alongside the rest of the CJ line.

1976–1986 CJ-7

16 modifications · The CJ-7 replaced the CJ-5 in 1976 with a longer wheelbase, improved stability, and more modern packaging. It became the main late-era CJ sold in the United States and was offered with a range of engines and trim levels. The CJ-7 ended U.S. production in 1986.

1955–1981 CJ-6

4 modifications · The CJ-6 was a long-wheelbase version of the CJ-5 designed for more cargo and passenger space. It was sold in the United States, though it was less common than the CJ-5. Production continued for many years before ending in the early 1980s.

1954–1983 CJ-5

5 modifications · The CJ-5 debuted in the 1950s with rounded styling inspired by the military M38A1 and became one of the longest-running Jeep nameplates. It was sold widely in the United States and evolved through many mechanical updates over its life. The CJ-5 remained in production until the early 1980s.

1953–1968 CJ-3B

1 modification · The CJ-3B introduced the taller hood and grille needed to clear the new Hurricane F-head engine. It retained the classic short-wheelbase CJ layout and was sold in the United States alongside export versions. The CJ-3B remained in production until the mid-1960s.

1949–1953 CJ-3A

1 modification · The CJ-3A followed the CJ-2A with a revised windshield, improved driveline details, and a more refined civilian utility layout. It kept the short-wheelbase open Jeep format and continued the CJ line in the U.S. market. Production ended before the CJ-3B arrived.

1945–1949 CJ-2A

1 modification · The CJ-2A was the first civilian Jeep, introduced after World War II and closely based on the military Willys MB. It established the CJ formula of simple open-body utility, four-wheel drive, and rugged off-road capability. The CJ-2A was sold in the United States and remained in production through the late 1940s.
