Jeep Cherokee/Wagoneer
XJ facelift
For 1987, the XJ Cherokee/Wagoneer received a facelift that updated the front-end styling and continued the same basic body and mechanical layout. The revised version remained on sale in the United States through 1989. This phase kept the Cherokee and Wagoneer nameplates in the XJ lineup while carrying the model through the end of the decade.
