1989–1997 First generation (ST)
8 modifications · The first-generation Ford Probe debuted for the 1989 model year as a Mazda-based sporty liftback developed under the Ford-Mazda partnership. It was sold in the United States and used front-wheel drive with a 3-door liftback body. This generation ended after the 1992 model year, before the all-new second generation arrived for 1993.
