The LTD Crown Victoria debuted for 1984 as Ford’s full-size rear-wheel-drive sedan on the Panther platform. It served as the upscale LTD variant and remained in production through 1991 before Ford removed the LTD prefix for 1992. In the U.S. market, it was sold throughout its entire run.
